In addition to sailing, the members of LCYC also love to socialize!
Commodore's Breakfast
Each month members of the club demonstrate that good sailors are also great cooks. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, quiche, breakfast casseroles, fresh fruit, muffins and pastries. These breakfast smorgasbords are truly DELICIOUS and offer some prime time for socializing. Contact Margaret McGill to volunteer for a 2012 breakfast.

Lifetime Service Award Deadlines and FAQS
The 2011 Founders Day event will be held on Saturday, April 28th, 2012. Please take a moment to nominate someone who has demonstrated consistent support of club activities through their leadership, willingness to volunteer, sportsmanship and cooperation over the past 20 plus years. The recipients receive individual plaques in appreciation of their service to LCYC and have their names added to the Lifetime Service Award permanently displayed on the McKowen deck.

Memorial Day Fish Fry
Don't know where this year went, but it's that time again. It's lip smackin' fried catfish, out of this world jalapeno hush puppies, butter drippin corn on the cob, and lots, and lots of great desserts. It's fun and you don't want to miss it!

4th of July Barbecue
- Wednesday, July 4th - 4 PM at the LCYC Clubhouse
- What better time for a barbecue than the 4th of July! The day begins with the Branch Long Distance Race follwed by food, fixins and fun. Trophies for the race will be presented at 6 PM.

Labor Day Barbecue & Potluck
Held in conjunction with the Annual Fall Festival Regatta, this is the last big party of the summer.

Join us for LCYC's very own Halloween Party. There will be a mean "Witches Brew" to go along with some tasty "Bat Dogs" and "Spooky Joes". Hobgoblin Beans and Creepy Coleslaw will be served along with some Ghoulish Chips and Salsa's.

Prizes will be awarded to the Best Overall, Scariest and Funniest Halloween Costumes.
Annual Meeting, Dinner and Awards Ceremony
During this annual December event the Commodore summarizes the past year's activities, conducts the elelction of new officers to the Board and presents sailing & service awards. The remainder of the evening is all food, fun and holiday cheer.

Commodore's Grog
This evening is spent enjoying a hearty meal, quaffing grog and an assortment of other beverages, sharing sailing stories and trivia, and bidding a fond farewell to the outgoing Commodore.

LCYC New Year's Eve Potluck
